One of of my friends posted this picture with a story on how you can put a frog into a bucket of water, heat it up and the frog will adjust his temperature, and not decide to jump out until he has exhausted his energy adjusting, to not be able to get out and dies.

My question is, do we do that as well?  I look at some people’s lives, and they spend so much time doing the same thing everyday, but yet expect to get a different result.  This is nothing new.

We will always have those who sit back and accept the conditions as nothing they can do about it.

Then we have Angels on Earth, like my neighbor.  She volunteers her time, helping people.  She was telling me that one person told her, all he wanted was a steak dinner.  Well, after she heard that, she started organizing an event for the people there, and it meant so much to everyone involved.  This is something that we can all learn from.

When you’re out and about, keep your heart and ears open.

We all have things, gifts, talents that can make a difference in others lives.  My neighbor had many people offering to help if they do a function like that again, and it moved me how we as a people come together, when we need it.  We are Gods hands and feet!

On Mothers Day, at the restaurant, I saw a women, I really liked that used to come into my copy shop, 20 years ago.  She remembered me and called me by my name.  To me, that’s amazing.  I remember faces, but suck at names.  I decided that I am going to make an effort, to remember people’s names, because of the way it makes you feel, when they do.

When we focus on helping others, we help ours selves as well.  I remember one time, my first husband and I were so broke, we didn’t have money for food.  Food stamps were embarrassing back then, and my Grandpa came to our house, with a whole trunk full of groceries.  Still, thinking about it today, makes me feel the gratitude I felt that day.

So today, as you go through your day, look for those special clues that you can do, that would make such a difference in others lives.  When you do, it will make a difference in yours too!

I hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day.  Mine was good, even though it was a first, since now I’m the oldest of the Grandmas in the family.  Kind of a scary thought.  58 and still had my Grandma.  I know there are some who don’t have Grandmas at a very young age.  You can always adopt me! Lol I learned from the best, on how to be a Grandma!

The Power of MLM

As I’ve said before, I’ve done MLM most of my life and never really made any money.  Loved the products, or I wouldn’t have sold any of them.  I’ve read so many books on the subject, you may borrow one sometime, or I can give you some titles and you can rent them from your local library, or just get them on kindle, you get the idea.

Well, I got my First check in January, for my first sale of an SD501P.  It was $285.00  That was the largest commission check I ever got doing MLM.  I had great success selling real estate, back in 2006, 2007  so selling was not the problem.  In real estate, your still trading your time for dollars.

We traveled so much with our business, Bryan invented wireless lights for the tow truck industry back in 1985.  Which BTW, has become a mult-million dollar company.  It didn’t happen over night.  It took years and years of struggling to get to where he is now.  You can see what he sells on TowMate.com  I am very proud of what he has done with his business.  If I sound disassociated from the company, it’s because, I am.  We butt heads too bad, on many issues, so it’s best I do something else.

So, MLM it is again!

I have finally found a company, with a great product, a fantastic marketing plan, in before momentum.  Which basically, means before everyone has already heard about it so you don’t make any money.

i have been steadily re-investing back all the money I have made into furthering my little business.  I purchased my beautiful EWS Website  www.alkalizingyourwater.com, purchased business cards, labels for the water jugs, to share, share, share water for free.  That is a huge difference in this MLM, not having to buy product to share.

I get wonderful Thank You commission checks from Enagic when I sell something.  My most recent, was 4 checks in one day.  Over 1,000.00.  Yicks!  That’s excellent in my book!

So I figured I better start keeping track of all this stuff before it gets out of hand.  I went to go put it into an excell spread sheet, and was embarrassed to realize, I’ve been away from it so long, I didn’t remember how to change the size of the column to fit what I wanted in there.

Forget it!!  I know people, who can help me do it quickly, so I just started writing it down.  Holly Smokes! As McKenna likes to say!  This is a picture of my deal.  I won’t be posting any more pictures of the money I make in the future, but thought you might be as shocked as I was.  I didn’t realize how fast this thing is rolling!

This will not be typical for everyone, because not everyone can afford to buy a machine for their home, one for their business, for the employees to drink and share the water and buy the Ukon vitamins, but I would recommend buying a machine, the SD501 and the Ukon vitamins.  The vitamins are not only the best turmeric supplements you can take, and is given to cancer patients.  It’s anti-inflamitory, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial but they also keep your machine active so you will never miss a Thank You commission check because you haven’t sold anything lately!

If you ever do decide to do a MLM, I would highly suggest you put your elder, loved ones in first, before you get in, so they can make Thank You commission checks from all your activity.  As many of you know, chances are your the ones who will ultimately end up caring for them down the road, a few thousand dollars now, if they can’t afford to buy the machine, will bring them money since Social security is a joke to survive on!

Is that true or what?

If you have people in your life, that cause you nothing but grief, then it’s time to pull the plug on that relationship.

It’s not trying to be mean or anything, but if the relationship causes your body to go into a panic mode, just thinking about talking, or visiting with them, it’s time to pull the plug.

Rarely have I had to do that, but I have a time or two.  Luckily, not so much with friends, but others who have come into my life through business, or secondary relationships.

Oh Boy, but when it’s family, that can make it really difficult!  I hate having to tip toe, because of family.  When you have such a LARGE extended family as I do, it’s bound to happen.

My Mother past away, Dec 11.  My Grandma past last Christmas Day, so this will be the first Mother’s Day without either one of them.  I have no idea how this is going to work.  We have tension because death seems to always bring disagreements.  Should not be that way, but it is what it is!

Today has been a great day around here.  Kevin has hung out with me and this is what we accomplished.. 12 waffles to go to my Dad.  He loves waffles, and I am going to freeze them so he can have them later.  I planned on having some for Dad, but not so many.  Kevin was the one that wanted them.  I while I was unfortunately on a call, with #DigitalMarketing, Kevin ate something else. I totally spaced making the waffles.  Ingredients dry and wet, not mixed yet, or the batter would have been all over the counter.  Duh, thank goodness, they turned out great.

I just found out that Alex , my 13 year old has a concert tonight, and I was told an hour ago we have plans to do something else.  Not my day.  Kinda feel like Charlie Brown here!

I have no idea where the rest of this is going now, so maybe I’ll just quit while I’m ahead.

My head is still reeling with all the new information I learned on the call, and how to start to implement it.

Oh boy, that was close!  Yesterday, we had a blackout of sorts on my blog.  I must apologize for that.  Here’s why, incase you tried to read my blog and couldn’t.

First, I must say that I love learning things and as with a baby, you fall a lot when you’re first leaning how to do something.

Ok, so, I have been rolling along quite nicely in my mind.  I’ve made some significant strides in my posts with pictures, and adding new things.

Well, while sitting in my tub, using my new #Anespa, (I don’t sit very well) I thought I would watch a video on my phone since I don’t have a TV in my bathroom.  I know, I can hear some of you saying “oh gezz”, really?  But yes, really ritzy hotels have them in the mirrors.  One minute it’s a mirror and with a click on a remote, it’s now a TV!  Hotel 32, which is on the top of the Monte Carlo, in Vegas has them.  OMG, the nicest hotel room, I’ve EVER stayed in.  And I’ve stayed in a lot.

Anyway, off my topic.  Oh Yeah, I’m in the tub watching a video of the founder of Learn-to-Blog, and a Mom of 4 kids, who started a blog and now that is all she does, to make a living for her family is BLOG.  I didn’t catch her info, obviously, I was unprepared to take notes.  But, I saw enough to know that I wanted to learn more.

I am the type of person, who will learn as much as I can and apply what I learn, for Free, for as long as they will give it.  I’m starting to get bombarded with buy this, and buy that for building your business.  Whatever!  I’ve owned my own business, of one sort or another all my life.  Enough to know, you could go broke trying to figure out what to do and what not to do.  So I have pretty good discernment over that stuff.

So, the next day I decided to join with Learn-to-Blog.  They earned my trust and I signed up.  37.00 a month or something like that.  Cheaper if I paid in full for a whole year, but I just did the 37, because my big (seriously) Enagic Thank You Commission checks hadn’t arrived yet.

Yay, I’m in.  I got a call from the nicest guy, Jeff from Learn-to-Blog.  Welcoming me to the group, and that I was given permission to join the group of members in private chat.

Jeff used to live in our area, one thing let to another.  He was extremely helpful answering my questions, etc.

So here’s the part where we get into a little bit of the technical difficulties.  He said that I would never get to where I wanted to go with my blog, being hosted, where it was.  We needed to move my blog to a place like Hostgator, which looked like a really cool site.

I jumped on it, paid the fees and before I thought about all that needed to be done first, I told the current host, that I wanted to move my blog, or domain name, to the new location.  No problem right?  Jeff is still on the phone with me and I felt empowered to do this so when it came to press submit changes, I did.

That’s where our OOPS came in.  What I had done, was basically move my building, without packing any of my belongings.  My site was not there anymore, and I couldn’t access the new place yet, and let me tell you, I am dying!  I had just made a really cool post about the Anespa, and done all the work to promote it and it’s BLACK OUT TIME!

I kept my cool, through excruciating hours of no blog.  Remember, I’m the type of person who keeps my head during a crisis.  To me, this was like driving down the freeway in the Motorcoach with no brakes on my Florida trip.  (See Posts earlier, if you missed it.  Its not for the faint of heart)

We decided to call it quits until the new hosting company and all the search engines had been notified of the move.  Jeff mentioned that we had been on the phone for what seemed like an eternity! That’s dedication!  He deserves a raise guys!  I told him I wouldn’t send him a bill for my time, and he was like WHAT???  We laughed, because at this point what else can you do?

I went to dinner on pins and needles.  Not knowing if I would be able to get back the hours of time I’ve spent on blogging lately, was killing me.  Checking every 15 minutes or so, still nothing.

Finally around 10:30, Eureka!  It was up and running, all my posts are there, pictures, stats, everything.  I called Jeff and left a message.  I was thanking him profusely!   His computer still had my blog up, so he copied it to his computer. He had gone in with my password and packed up all my stuff that I couldn’t get to anymore, and waited till the site was ready, and unpacked it for me.  Whew, OMG!

Or so I thought.  Next morning I find that I don’t have everything, and we need just a few more tweaks from Jeff.  I called and left a really nice message for when he got into the office area, since he’s 2 hours behind me.  When he called back he told me he didn’t really have time to help me right then.  My heart sank!  Steady!  He said let me try this real quick.  He got it.!!!!!!

I am such a happy girl, and I would trust these guys with my blog any day!

Wow, Wow and Wow!

Yesterday, we had a little birthday party at Chuck E Cheese for my granddaughter McKenna who just turned 3.  Call me crazy, I love it there. Watching the kids get so excited!  

Anyway, Lyric is the Mommy to the other 3 year old Melody who accompanied me down to Florida with the MotorCoach.  (I blogged about all of it, you can read about the Florida Trip) Believe me when I say, we know each other pretty intimately after so many days together 24/7.  Again, the good, the bad and the ugly.  

So, just before going to Chuck E Cheese, I jumped in my shower with my new Anespa.  Got ready, with my normal routine.  (I love my Anespa, if I didn’t say that already).

Well, when Lyric got to Chuck E Cheese, she asked me if I had my hair done that day?  I said, “No, Why?”  She said “Because it’s so shiny and smooth, like when you get your hair done, that’s all.”

  Hello, first I’d like to Thank all my guests and followers, for reading my blog.  I got a huge swell of satisfaction and gratitude the other day when I called my daughter Angela.  I asked her what she was doing and she replied, “I was reading your blog, till you interrupted me!”  OMG.  I said “call me back when your done”.  We laughed.

I really hope that I can add some smiles to someone’s day.  My mission on my blog, is to educate the world that our bodies have incredible healing powers if we provide it with the proper tools.  

Fresh air, clean water, good food, excercising, not only your body but your mind as well, love and laughter.  Laughter being as important as medicine, because it helps put endorphins (pain killers) in your body.

Ok so, getting back to the title of this blog.  I truly believe you can’t convince someone of the benefits of something, no matter what that thing is, unless you yourself become a product of the product.  Or in other words, you actually use “it” yourself. 

  
So, I purchased the Anespa, because it is one of the Enagic Kangen Water Products.  I already love my SD501 water machine, and the Turmeric vitamins.  So next up, the Anespa.  The Anespa hooks up to your shower or bath tub, or in my case, we have it so it can do both.  I got to try it out and it is heavenly.  I didn’t use anything but the water in the tub.  I could tell that my skin loved it, especially since my legs itch because of being dry.

Anyway, the Anespa was the catalyst for my getting in the tub.  Fine, no, more than fine, it was divine.  Reminded me of being in the Geo Thermal pools in New Zealand.  Ahh, ok, I guess taking a bath is not so bad with my big, clean, beautiful tub and my Anespa! Omg, I wish you could try this!

OR NOT, the choice is yours! This just cracked me up!  I’m sorry, but this is what I do now, (sharing Enagic Kangen Water) and it makes me giggle every time I look at it.  

So many things are caused by not drinking enough water.  Darn it, things that could easily be reversed, without pills with dangerous side effects. If only people would realize that water is Not soda, and other drinks, but plain old H20.  Yes, they do have water in them.  Obviously, if some are not drinking water, then the body is using the water out of the drink, to be able to survive.

However, I believe that is why so many are sick with diseases that are caused by dehydration.  When I can get a stubborn person to finally try the water, they will and do feel a difference.  Even though they don’t want to admit it.  Trust me, they don’t. It’s just too simple. 

But if you think about it, years ago, people didn’t have all the drinks we have today.  And the water supply was not as polluted as it is today.  In the US, tap water legally must be 7 PH.  However, most tap water has chlorine to clean the water.  Bottled water DOES NOT have to be 7.0 Ph

 If you did your own simple ph test of different drinks, even bottled water is acidic.  Remember, it has been proven that cancer can not survive in an alkaline body.  You can buy ph test strips at any health food store.  Try it, seriously.

I had the pleasure of having McKenna and her friend Dylan overnight last night.   

They had a great time.  They spent the night with us.  Both didn’t get a nap, and they finally decided they’d had enough fun with each other to give it up and go to sleep around 10:30.

Today, I was going to go to watch Alex play baseball today down in Fort Smith, but when I went to go, I didn’t have my car keys.  Bryan did, and he flew this morning to see his brother.  So I go to use my other car, the one that was driven behind the coach on the Florida trip.  It was dead.  Poor thing probably needs a new battery.  

Anyway, so making lemonade out of lemons, I’m going to be taking some classes on blogging, and on YouTube.  One of the challenges is to make a video and to post on Facebook.  I did it.  It’s harder than one would think.  It’s done.  Talk about getting out of my comfort zone.  But if you don’t grow, you won’t glow! Just kidding.  

Someone said you don’t have to be GREAT to start, you you have to START to be Great.
