Live and let Live

Ok, so I haven’t had much time to blog lately.  I’ve been really busy, but thats not really a good excuse.  I havent had much exciting to blog about.  NO, thats not true either.  I’ve had alot to blog about.  Just to busy to do it.  NO More Excuses.

I’m blogging today because you may find this funny.  Yesterday, I saw a wasp in my bathroom.  I didn’t do anything about it.  In hindsight, that was a big mistake.

I always have felt that if you remain calm and don’t swing at them, shush them away or generally freck out over their presents they will leave you alone.  I do not get alarmed if one is near me.

Ok, so last night, getting ready for bed, I got in, and started pulling the covers over me.  All in a matter of seconds, the wasp was inbetween my legs and the covers, stinging my leg, several places.  I reached down to swish him off my leg and he stung my finger.  He was gone now, but where did he go?  I know I didn’t kill him.  It was a terrible thing, hurting in so many places.

I was up off and on all night thinking about the wasp.  Didn’t want to get stung again, or step on him.

In the morning, we find the wasp on a towel, drapped over the bathtub.  Bryan starts looking around for something to kill it with.  My first reaction was to pick up my hair brush, and kill it for the little sucker stinging me. On the way to kill it, I had a change of heart.  He didn’t do it on purpose.  I scared him, and he didn’t mean to hurt me.  So I asked Bryan to open the sliding glass door, I picked up the towel he was on, and took him outside.  I said, be free, and he flew away.

Bryan said I was the only women he knew that would release a wasp after being stung.  Am I crazy or what?  I feel all creatures have a purpose, just not in my house.

Periscope for Twitter

Wishing everyone a fantastic weekend as we start to slide into fall here.  This week has been a learning one again.

If you havent heard of the new Periscope app, its kinda cool.  It downloads onto your cell phone.  Has both platforms, iphone, and android.  The app for the Ipad has terrible reviews, so best to stick with the phone.

It seems to be connected to Twitter.  My Twitter ID is @ChristyAnd72756.  I’m on there, but not sure how to add new people, because when it started, it asked me if I wanted to add all my followers, and I didn’t really want to wait around for it to add 1300+ people.  So, I picked a few and went on.

Don Prosser, a Master Trainer with Enagic, is how I was introduced to it.  He is going to put a training class on there.  As we found out later, the session only stays on there for 24 hrs and then gets deleted.  Kinda like a snap chat right?  Wrong.  You have to delete the video within a 24 hr period OR the session is considered Periscopes property, which then they can republish, edit as they like.  So, in my opinion, its a great tool, as long as you remember to delete the session, before the 24 hrs is up.

Another problem with it is, having too many people on it watching at one time.  If you don’t get in early, you won’t be able to chat to the presenter.  Not a real big deal, but thats part of the fun.  It’s a fun way to interact with the person doing the session.  A couple of them moved around alot and could make the person watching, sea sick.  So if you’re thinking of using Periscope, keep that in mind while filming.

I’m thinking of trying it, but it won’t be till next week sometime because I have my Granddaughter McKenna this weekend.

Also, I’ve been working on YouTube this week.  You can find me by putting in my name, Christy Anderson.  Once my name comes up, you have to move right till you find me.  I have put some webinars put on by Rhonda and Ron Gessner on there about Enagic, the company and its products.  Awesome webinars!  I also included a couple of videos by Nutritional Consultant Shan Stratton, who speaks on the importance of Alkaline living.  In my playlist, which I don’t know if a visitor can see my playlist or not, but some really good information in there, especially the list of what Drs have to say about it.  If you decide you want to order something, please make sure you call me, or go to my website to purchase.  www.alkalizingyourwater.com

So if you get a chance this weekend, check out my YouTube channel.

Also, prayers and thoughts go out to all those who lost loved ones on this anniversary of 9/11.  Hence Peanuts giving out hugs.  That day changed all of our lives, even if you didn’t lose a loved one.  I remember crying watching TV that morning and the weeks following.  My heart still aches for everyone who lost loved ones.

So, with that, get out there, enjoy life, it’s short and precious!
